The Spirits of Trinidad and Tobago Folklore Exhibition

In 2001, the Museum at the House of Angostura launched their “Spirits of Trinidad and Tobago: Folk Tales of the Village of Paramin” exhibit. For this exhibit, we constructed a display designed in an archaeological style that divulged the intricate details and stories of Papa Bois, Soucouyant and other folklore favourites. Our visual representations of the tales combined with the delivery by the ladies of Paramin created the ideal atmosphere for indulging in this well-loved folk tradition.
