Museum of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Services

This museum must be the only one in the West Indies that was built into a stone tower! It was built into the old Police Head Quarters building in Port of Spain, originally constructed in 1876. In designing this museum, done in 2004, our focus was to remind visitors of the historic duration of the police establishment in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as to correct notions and ideas with regard to its origin. Among the memorabilia incorporated were badges of honour, uniforms, and displays relating historical events, showing the rich history of this distinguished establishment.
